About 50 people attended the Elder Care Community Council, ECCC, benefit concert on November 10 at Holy Family Senior Center in Apalachicola. The Von Wamps and Boo Radley filled the historic room with beautiful music. President, Valentina Webb welcomed everyone and said, “We are raising awareness and funds to continue the ECCC efforts to provide lunches to the 112 elders on our list that are in need of nutritious food right in our community. The youngest recipient is 55 and the eldest is over 100 years old.” Currently, donations tare being accepted to purchase food and a new stove for the kitchen as we are preparing for the upcoming holidays.
